Room 861 at Goodnights: Quan Wiggins
Room 861 at Goodnights: Quan Wiggins
Quan Wiggins is a New York City-based comedian, originally from the farmlands of Bertie County, NC. After hearing New York was the mecca of comedy, he moved there straight after college to compete amongst the best. He went on to win the 4th Annual Comedy Competition at the iconic New York Comedy Club. In the same year, he earned a spot in New York’s Funniest Showcase, putting him alongside the industry’s sharpest comedians. He commands a room with a laid-back conversational style that draws the audience into thought-provoking takes on politics and culture, topped with a wheelhouse of spot-on celebrity impressions that keep crowds leaning in. It’s stand-up comedy in its purest form — sharp, unpredictable, and authentic. Alongside stand-up, Wiggins made his Off-Broadway debut as an original cast member in Race the Movie the Play and played campaign manager Jay in the indie TV series Bros. Whether he’s cracking up late-night crowds in New York’s Times Square or appearing at comedy festivals across the country, Quan’s sharp originality and unpredictable edge deliver the kind of stand-up you’re telling your friends about later.
